We were delighted to be invited to the Apollo Global Management offices on June 24th, along with our Ambassadors, Sophie and Sam.

During our visit we delivered a presentation during their Lunch and Learn session highlighting the challenges faced by those living with spinal cord injury and how our research aims to alleviate some of these.

This was followed by a fantastic Q&A discussion hosted by Sophie and Sam during which they provided invaluable insight into their individual experiences of life since sustaining a spinal cord injury. 

Several members of the Apollo team also took on our Wheels at Work challenge over the following 2 days, setting themselves a variety of challenges around the office (and beyond!), to gain some understanding of being in a wheelchair (many thanks to Gerald Simonds Healthcare for providing the wheelchairs).
