Living with SCI?

Share your story and help support others just like you.

Whether you're living with a spinal cord injury (SCI), or are caring for someone who is, we’d love to hear from you.

Stories like yours can raise awareness of our work, start the conversation, and help support people in the SCI community by letting them know about what we do and why funding research into neuropathic pain, pressure ulcers, assistive limb technology, mental health, and urinary tract infection, is vital, for the health and wellbeing of those living with paralysis.

Sharing your story can also provide hope and encouragement to others facing similar challenges as well as inspiring people to fundraise, or volunteer.

People who’ve shared their story often find it a really positive experience. It can be a chance to make a real difference for people living with SCI and their loved ones.

If you would like to share your story for PR and Media purposes, please complete the form below

*Stories & photographs may be used for social media, media (online & print), on our website, and marketing materials, to promote the work of Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research.
